ANYONE

This is my son - and although it's painful for me to hear and watch I thought I would share it. It's an important reminder that anyone can be affected by the negative actions of others - that have a long lasting impact - and anyone can struggle with mental health. Even those who come from a loving home, are shown affection daily, dress in name brand clothes, take part in sports and extracurricular activities, have the love and support of an extended family, achieve many successes awards and honor roll grades, is snuggled and read to at night - even they can suffer. I love this child with all of my heart and would erase each and every painful experience if I could - as any mother would. He has found an outlet and a way to express himself through his music and I'm grateful for that. Hold your babies, watch them closely, assume nothing, and always listen!
