Sometimes we need to be reminded of what we have in our lives to be thankful for, especially when we're struggling every day just to get by. But even when there's struggles or darkness there are things to be thankful for. This Thanksgiving I'm thankful for the opportunities I have to help others. Helping others is what makes me feel good and gives me a sense of purpose.
*TIP: By keeping a positive thoughts and blessings journal each week which includes moments of joy, time with loved ones, quotes and song lyrics that inspire, the title of a book or movie that moved me, or just something simple that made me smile like the sound of my cat purring when I picked him up - I can look back when I'm struggling to feel positive or see my blessings. When I look back I can see all the wonderful things, people, and moments in my life!
